I watched the Cinemalaya 2007 awards night. (I dont know if that’s how they call it) And I want to congratulate Sir Jim Libiran and the Rappers from Tondo who happens to be our co-fellow in LIRA(Linangan ng Imahen Retorika at Anyo) Poetry Workshop this year. I’m so darn proud of them as if I was one of the crews or had been a part of the film. (feeling.hehe)

 But it’s not really that. To get to know those person involve in that movie is like whoa! Not only because they won the best film and Best performance of an Actor(s), but  you know the feeling of “pakikisawsaw,” hey, I know those people I even have pictures with them. Nah, just kidding. But being an Indie Person myself, they lit a fire in my heart and desire that someday all our hardworks will pay off just like what happened to si Sir Jim. 

 It doesnt necessarily have to be in the Indiefilm business but in my writing career especially. Cinemalaya, all the other festivals, the people behind it or in the circle, inspires me to move on and get on with my business, knowing that it is being recognized by the many nowadays, I see great future in this industry.
